EFIS Differences Training
Pilots converting to an EFIS equipped aeroplane for the first time, within the Single Engine Piston Class Rating, are required to complete differences training. Our glass cockpit differences training course is carried out in a Cessna 172 equipped with the Garmin G500 panel and GTN750 Navigator.
The course consists of a combination of theoretical knowledge, simulator training, and flight training. There are no minimum number of hours in order to receive the sign off from the instructor it’s just a case of training as required for the student to be competent. The theoretical training covers aspects such as an overview of the system, normal operating procedures as well as abnormal procedures.
